   KDLT NBC 5, Sioux Falls, SD                         November 2009 – Present
   Chief Meteorologist
   • Perform live weathercasts for the 5pm, 6pm, and 10pm newscasts Sunday through
      Thursday as well as co-anchor the 5pm and 10pm newscasts on Sundays
   • Fill in anchor when needed
   • Manage all weather related functions and procedures including supervising
      the morning and weekend meteorologists
   • Duties include creating all graphics, analyzing and forecasting daily weather,
      updating information, pictures, and videos to our website, and community
      service such as weather presentations to schools and businesses
   • Perform severe weather cut-ins as well as cut-ins for other major events
   • Built all graphics from the ground up when KDLT upgraded to 3D Live
      weather graphics in September of 2009 and Livewire in the fall of 2011
   • Participate in all KDLT sponsored events and promotions
   • Create weather packages that show long term forecasts and explanations
      of record breaking events

Skills and Awards
• Received an AP Award for “Best Overall Newscast” in 2010 when competing against
   more than 20 other stations in the area
• Nominated for an Emmy in 2010 for my part in a 30 minutes special about the last
   50 years of KDLT News
• Well versed in Weather Central graphics which includes 3D Live, ESP Live, X Vision,
   Metline, WxWarn, and Doppler radar. Also well versed in Microsoft Word, Power Point,
   Microsoft Word, Power Point, and Excel. Have experience with WSI graphics and
   Weather Central Genesis
• Increased ratings to become the #2 morning show in the Sioux Falls market
• Participated and fundraised for the 2009 and 2010 JDRF walk in Sioux Falls and was
   the highest fundraiser from KDLT
• Took part in the 2007-2008 National Forecasting Competition and was the top
   forecaster from MSU and one of the lead forecasters in the nation
• Chosen to participate in an annual Storm Chasing expedition through Mississippi
   State University where I received hands on knowledge of
   severe storm tracking through the use of forecast maps,
   radar, and visual references
